Nick grew up in Cornerstone Church and accepted Jesus after hearing the Gospel message presented at a church children’s program and by his parents. Nick and his wife, Sarah, met in Mexico and served there as missionaries for several years together. They have five energetic children with a new baby on the way (but no, they’re not Mormon or Catholic). Nick currently works for a local nonprofit which provides emergency shelter and other services for women and families. He’s also in the process of becoming a substitute teacher as a way to be more involved in the community. Nick is passionate about helping people grow in their relationship with Jesus and take courageous steps of faith in obedience to Him. He embraces relationships that are honest and authentic and not afraid to tackle hard questions. He enjoys serving the church and the community through work projects. Nick loves everything to do with the outdoors (but especially spearfishing), and feels blessed to live in Yuba-Sutter with its easy access to rivers, lakes, mountains and the ocean.
