At Cornerstone, you will inevitably hear things like...
This is a place of grace...
No perfect people allowed...
We all struggle, just in different ways...
Come, just as you are,
and let God change you from the inside out.
So what does this mean you can expect when you visit?
- A warm, friendly welcome. You are just as deserving to be here as the one who has been here 30 years.
- A relaxed environment. Legalism stinks. Wear what you feel comfortable in. God isn't interested in externals, so neither are we. God is after the heart.
- A message that won't beat you down, but build you up. We already feel enough guilt, shame & failure. The pastor will show you how to experience peace and joy instead.
- A safe, educational, and friendly environment for your kids. We care deeply about building the next generation.
- A spirit of joy in our singing. From the ancient hymns to the heartfelt songs of today, we express our allegiance, our requests and our praise by singing to God together.
- And always a hot cup of coffee (or tea)!
Our kids are Priority #1 at Cornerstone Church.
We want our kids to experience church as the most welcoming, fun and inspiring place they have ever been! As the people of Jesus, we want them to feel so loved and protected by us that they come to know Jesus as the one safe place they can always run to throughout their lives. Our goal in children’s ministry is to provide each child with a strong Biblical foundation and help them to build their own personal relationship with Jesus.
In light of this, you will experience the following when you bring your family to Cornerstone:

Jesus loves kids. And so do we! |
WORSHIP. This is what you were made for.
What's with all the singing? You are a created being. Yes, you did come from the dust. But it didn't happen by accident and chance. A Being, far beyond anything you could ever imagine, with powers beyond comprehension, breathed life into the dust and made you come alive. This makes Him your Creator. Your King. Your loving Father. It makes sense to praise Him with the most beautiful thing Man has ever been granted: Song. With our words, our voices, our instruments, our hearts...we declare to this Creator that we are His and He is ours, forever.
...And it gets even better...

JESUS.
When you realize that God the Creator sent His Son, the Re-Creator, to save you out of the dust and ashes of a broken life...
You will want to SING. You will want to WORSHIP.
At Cornerstone Church, this is why we are not all that concerned about the style of music. Or whether we do or do not use a certain instrument. Or whether you sing with your hands up, down, sideways, or in your pockets! NONE of that truly matters. What truly matters is this: has your heart been gripped by the God who Saves? The God who Loves...you? If it has...you WILL sing. You won't be able to help it. And then, however you do it...with a hymn or a chorus...a guitar or a piano...in tune or out...GOD WILL BE GLORIFIED. And He will smile when He hears you.
