Welcome to Cornerstone

Thank you for taking the time to find out more about Cornerstone Church. This will provide a brief “fly-by” to give an overview. For more details you may “walk around” other pages that interest you.

Cornerstone Church of Yuba City was established in Yuba City, California in 1955.  What began as a small home Bible Study has become an active and thriving fellowship of God’s people that has been serving the needs of families and individuals for over 60 years.

Today, the people of Cornerstone are on the verge of fresh opportunities to present the life of Jesus in our community. Perhaps you might like to join us in this adventure of discovery.

Here are four key features to give you the big picture.

We are a multi-generational congregation reflecting the benefits and vitality of all ages.
From senior adults to babies and toddlers in the nursery, there is a welcome place for everyone important to you. With each age and stage of life we offer programs, activities and venues for fellowship and learning.

Bible Fellowships are scheduled Sunday mornings after the worship service.

Undoubtedly, what a church believes is among your first concerns.
We are affiliated with the Evangelical Free Church of America which provides a clear statement of doctrine and a balanced approach to engaging and transforming culture. Basically, we are a Bible-believing-teaching-preaching church that gives priority to the gospel of Jesus Christ in an environment of grace allowing the Holy Spirit to bring about growth in each of our lives as we live out the Word of God daily.

Missionaries are our heroes!
We love and support these servants whom we consider “remote-staff” found around the world.

Cornerstone has enjoyed a stability that keeps us on course and a compatibility that reflects mutual respect.
By the grace of God we are a fellowship of God's people that offers a warm welcome and an affirming acceptance. The best advice we may give is “get acquainted”, then if it feels like a good fit, “get involved”.
